A native Texan, Anne was born in Houston and attended The Kinkaid School before transferring to Santa Catalina Boarding School in Monterrey, California and returning to attend the University of Texas. Anne has lived in her Central Austin neighborhood for 30 years and knows it thoroughly, and having sold residential real estate in Austin for 15 years she has used this knowledge and understanding for the benefit of innumerable clients. Being witness to Austin�s impressive growth and changes and also to its occasional economic vicissitudes, Anne�s experience, judgment and insight bring an invaluable perspective to matters of broad market conditions as well as an acute attention to detail to matters involving specific negotiations and product analysis. Perhaps most importantly is the relationship of trust and understanding that Anne develops with her clients. A former pre-school teacher, employee of Texas Monthly Magazine, a former board member of the Texas Fine Arts Association, and dog obedience trainer, Anne is married to Jackson Giles. They are the parents of two grown children and the grandparents of a terribly spoiled and beautiful King Charles spaniel named Maizie, a Certified Therapy Pet Pal. Anne and Maizie enjoy their visits to Christopher House of Austin Hospice.
